It's a slow build Robin.....Robin?
Jesus that is horrendous.
"I am leaving Age Gheee Teeeh in great shape, Robin."
Shows how fragmented the audience is with all of the cable channels now. The total share for all the networks last night at 8:00 was only 26 percent of all the people watching TV
Robin, we were the number one shoe last night...
That show blows.

The 5th live results show leading into the big "finale" next week was up a 10th of a point from last week, but still much lower than last year and every other previous year. Even Stern's "little skit" in the classroom didn't do anything for the ratings. It is pretty clear that America turned its back on Stern, and found him to be unfunny, uninteresting, and not worth tuning in for on AGT. The ratings this season have been disastrous, and next weeks Finale could really have some poor ratings as it has to go up against Big Brother on both nights, and also a Dancing with the Stars episode. It will be interesting to watch the "swan song" for Howie Stern. Do they do the montage of "all his past antics"? Does he address himself leaving? Or is it just another Finale and no mention of him leaving happens. It will be interesting to watch. Will it be the lowest rated Finale in AGT history? If this season's trend continues, I predict it will be.

Season 10 of AGT was supposed to be a special one, and thanks to Stern it is.....as it stands right now, this season is the lowest rated AGT season by average since it started. Stern and AGT has a chance to "not be" the lowest rated season if they pull in a big number in the 2 shows next week for the Finales. However, the show would have to pull in a 3.0 rating on both nights to get it back up to the average of last years 2.22. With the shit numbers Stern is pulling in this season, I don't see it happening.....I don't see AGT pulling in a 3.0 rating next Tuesday when it goes up against Big Brother...a show it has lost to every week this season.
Celebrate Stern...do your "crucifix pose"....you did it. You are officially pulling in the lowest rated AGT season in the history of the show. You beat out C-list AGT judges like Brandy, Jerry Springer, The Hoff, Piers...you beat them all Stern. Good for you!
Robin, what these morons fail to realize is I DIDN'T lose ratings. I "right-sized" AGT's viewership with serious fans of the show. Not those losers who don't support our sponsors. No insult to KOAB, but I might be the king of all Garbagemen as well as the King of all media, not televised or on the computer.
Some barely made it
Mets fighting for the title and im gonna watch A.G.T. come on now.
Three million more viewers than the next most watched show, quite the failure.
Found this on Marksfriggin. I guess the dog act was such a huge success Howard decided to stay:
Howard Wants AGT To Find A Huge Star. 01/25/12. 6:45am
Howard said that he's going to take his job seriously on AGT. He said if he doesn't then he will leave after this season. Howard said he thinks that he and Sharon should walk away if they can't get the job done with him. Howard said they put through too many shitheads on that show. He said that he has to ask himself if he would put his own money up for these people. He said if he thinks that he'd get up from the blackjack table to go see them then they're the right people. Howard said the show started out as a goof but now it's a number one show on NBC. He said it's time to step up and find a major star. He said they have to work hard to find that big star. Howard said he wants it to be very serious.
don't confuse SAF with the facts.
Did you look at the ratings history? Do you think AGT was happy with what their Howard investment has brought them? Millions in lost viewers and a significant drop in key demo. Yeah, that's awesome, they're thrilled. And Howard is leaving to move onto bigger and better things, right?
Hilarious. Its time for Stern to find a major star on the show? 2012 is the season that Stern and the gang gave the AGT crown to the Olate Dogs. A major star Stern?? And yes...the show WAS the #1 show on NBC...until he took it over. Piers gave him a plate filled with #1 ratings and high viewership, and Stern turned that plate into a pile of shit. Very serious Stern? Yes...you took it seriously....you seriously showed how untalented you are, you seriously dropped the ratings immediately by 20% from what Piers gave you, you seriously tried to give yourself a title "America's Judge" hoping it would stick with America (when we all know it didn't), you seriously made yourself look like a fool by dancing with gay strippers on the stage..laying on the judges table..looking at a magician's bare ass..consoling a crying mariachi singing kid..doing the dumbest sign-off hand gesture in TV history....yea, you took it seriously Stern......you seriously made yourself look like a huge idiot.
NBC felt the same...it was time they "step up" and find a major star to bring the ratings back up and forget about Stern. NBC was right to fire...err...I mean, let Stern quit. Next year, AGT will go back up in ratings, and they won't have a wig-wearing, fake chinned wannabe B-lister sucking down all the payroll. If Piers was laughing this hard then, imagine him now??
Love it. Piers owned his ass. Even got in a quick dig about the drop in ratings.
One of the youtube comments made me realize something else about a dog act winning the show. With Beth and Howard being animoe activists, should they be promoting that sort of thing?
So let's get out the checklist here:
Eat living, breathing things - ok, if it's just the ones that don't make you fat
Wear dead animals - big ok
Circus acts - looks like an ok
Hunting for food - not ok, not even when plastic toys do it
Homeless people - ok
Homeless pets - not ok
Homeless people having homeless pets - really not ok
