Big Brother is still kicking its ass in the ratings.
...wait a minute. a 1.6? why bother?
Big Brother beat it by 29%........Stern effect!!!!!!
Keep in mind this was the first live Wednesday, people's chance to hear unedited Howard.
Bwaaaaaa haaaaaa haaaaaa haaaaa!!!! Barely beat Master Chef!!!! THE POWER OF STERN!!!!!!!!
".....Distance yourself from failures....
...and take credit for all the fucking successes!"
"Head for the hills when there is a big failure...."
AGT live vs AGT repeat only up by 0.1 rating point. That's quite a fail......
1.6 in the demo that matters, 8 million viewers. absolutely BTFO by Big Brother. Whenever this show actually has to go against competition it gets shat upon.
You mean the all important results show dropped in ratings. I would have thought America was waiting all day to see which shit acts advanced to the semi-finals.
That's the sorriest looking line up of shows I have ever seen.
CBS spent $0.0 on Tuesday and got 8.5 million for a repeat of NCIS.
I have been watching Extant and Under The Dome and I can't believe the shows continue to get any viewers. Both shows have completely gone off the rails from their original premise.
Ummm - I didn't even know his crappy show was on last night. Was there even a watching thread last night?
How the mighty have fallen.
How long has it been since he's been Mighty?
I think the AGT producers did the math: Between Howard's salary and moving the entire production and support staff to New York, just not worth it. They could easily save themselves $50 million by moving the show back to L.A. and hiring a new judge.
Historic Breakdown for Episode 12 of AGT - results show

2011 (Mandel, Morgan, Osbourne) 3.0 rating, 11.43 million viewers
2012 (Mandel, Osbourne, Stern) 2.3 rating, 9.32 million viewers
2013 (Mandel, Heidi, Mel B, Stern) 2.3 rating, 10.64 million viewers

How does Stern spin this one. Last nights results show was crushed by Big Brother, and barely beat out MasterChef. Not only that, but last nights show was the lowest rated show in AGT history, with the 2nd lowest viewership as well. Again...LOWEST RATED IN THE HISTORY OF AGT. The previous record was last year when a performance show pulled in a 1.8 rating and had 8.99 million viewers....all under Stern of course. So Howie is now bringing the show to historic lows....and if all trends stay the same, the show could go lower. All "live performance ratings" always start off strong, and progressively go lower each week. If this trend continues, the show will end up averaging below a 2.0 rating for the first time in show history. Congratulations Howard...you promised "record ratings"...you are delivering them....record and historic lows. Back in LA, the NBC executives are planning next season....as they all witness the destruction of their show by the one and only Howie Stern.
