This guy. How is it that he's on TV talking about "Justice" for Trayvon ?? Al Sharpten is an expert on JUSTICE? HOW does this happen? He gets TV shows, radio shows, he is an advocate for justice when he perpetrated one of the biggest frauds in recent times. Everyone just glosses over it, even Howard, who, in the past visited him in the hospital. HOWARD who never leaves his house visited AL SHARPTEN in hospital!!! And why do black people hold him in such high esteem? Cause he's a loudmouth? They should run like the wind from this guy. I cringe whenever I see him on tv.

But WHY I don't get it?? Why give this guy credibility? He's not that pretty. Why would Howard befriend him enough to visit him in the hospital? He's a vomit.

could this be a case of black on black necrophilia?

    I am sorry.

Seriously- I have issues with MSNBC allowing a social activist engaging in what is essentially breaking news.

I didn't like it when CNBC's Rick Santelli stood up on the floor of the Chicago Stock Exchange and called for a "Chicago Tea Party" and blasted the President of the United States for policies he personally disagreed with and I don't like Al Sharpton being a news maker while being paid by a cable network news outlet as a political commentator.

    He have pretty hair.
While a representative/spokesman for/of James Brown, he was taught by the Godfather of Soul the proper pomade necessary for his 'do.

He does look better since he lost all that weight and started wearing real suits instead of sweatsuits. This case centers around several serious issues and has a lot of hurdles to overcome. Seeing Al Sharpton mouthing off about it makes me wanna crawl under the table and gives no credibility to the case.

    I agree.
Sharpton seems to be using this case as an opportunity for self-promotion... but then- that's his specialty.
I just want his show removed from the MSNBC line-up.

being the timid media entity it is msnbc was probably coerced into hiring this mumbling, unintelligable, embarrassingly stupid race hustler. i was in nyc during the entire tawana brawly debacle, sharpton should have been thrown into the slammer.
the suits at this joke of a channel should be ashamed of themselves.

I agree- I HATE it that he has a show on there. MSNBC looks worse than Fox news in terms of credibility. It's getting pathetic.

Ugh I'm so glad this is a topic here because it's been driving me nuts. I've watched Morning Joe on MSNBC since the day it started and really enjoy it. Do I enjoy every show on that channel--no--come on Chris Mathews you moron. But when they gave a show to this fraud it really caused me to question the channel. I grew up in the PHilly/NY area and this idiot seriously caused some chaos and damage to race relations. For a while he seemed to have tried to tone it down and fit in with the network but now he's right back with his race baiting. GET RID OF HIM!

    He damages the network.

Who could stand to watch that fucking show?
His voice alone is enough to drive a fucker crazy!

Because he's a stupid asshole who is an attention whore and thinks he's helping the case. Nobody called Al to come down and handle this, he saw the opportunity and flew down to "assist in race relations".

This douche has spent his whole life trying to cash in on shit like this. Why should now be any different? He doesn't give a rat's ass about Trayvon Martin...he's just a fucking parasite and sees this as his next opportunity.

The fact that this network hires this particular guy doesn't give you pause when considering where to get your news?

what is this great source of news you have that no one else has?
i wouldn't care if the network hired the whole screen actors guild, i would still feel exactly the same about this case
