This guy is one one sick motherfucker... PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) - Portland police say a Washington murder suspect led them on a high-speed chase across the Ross Island Bridge on Wednesday morning, then later swerved into oncoming traffic as police terminated the pursuit. The car he was driving was found abandoned in Portland at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, but the suspect remained on the loose. David Kalac is wanted for a homicide in Kitsap County, where deputies said a 13-year-old boy found his mother's body in their home at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in unincorporated Port Orchard. The boy called his father, who then called 911. When police arrived, they found the body of Amber Coplin, as well as writing on a picture that said "she killed me first." On the blinds, the words, "bad news" were written, and next to the victim's body was her Washington driver's license with writing on the license that said "dead." Kalac was identified as the suspect and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Kitsap County deputies said there are no other known suspects. Portland officers spotted Coplin's stolen gold 2001 Ford Focus at Southeast Ninth Avenue and Powell Boulevard at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday. They tried to make a traffic stop, but police said the driver sped away, crossed the Willamette River via the Ross Island Bridge and started driving south on Barbur Boulevard. At about 30th Avenue, police gave up on the chase, and the car was last seen heading south on Barbur and passing Taylors Ferry Road. Kalac, 33, is believed to have been driving that car, and he's described as white, 6'2" tall and 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has an active warrant out for his arrest and police believe he's armed and dangerous. The Ford Focus was found on the 1300 block of Southwest Custer Drive near Barbur Boulevard. Kitsap County deputies said they would be retrieving the car and obtaining a search warrant to examine it for possible evidence. Anyone seeing Kalac is asked to call 911. Investigators said they don't have any information about why Kalac would be in Portland or if he was still in the metro-area Wednesday night. Several photos of Schraw’s naked body were posted to 4chan about 35 minutes before she was discovered. The anonymous poster wrote that, “Turns out its way harder to strangle someone to death than it looks on the movies.” A following post declared,“She fought so Damn hard.” The three accompanying images show Schraw (who is also known as Amber Lynn Coplin) lying dead on a bed, with what appear to be strangulation marks on her neck.
