you know I was thinking the same thing about Everlong.
Did you hear Beth's heartwarming speech to Howard?
I always thought it was "star star"aka starfucker by The Rolling Stones.
Why did Howard never talk about that song being about Dave Grohl's new affair after divorce? I really think Howard and Beth have a secret connection to both those songs and Grohl knows it
ughhhhh way to fuck up that song for me
You might be on to something here. Listening to some lyrics and heard this
Come down and waste away with me
Down with me
Slow, how you wanted it to be
I'm over my head
Out of her head she sang
Sound like an anorexia who is on a slow down and out who got in over his head with a gold digger who is out of her head.
Dave Grohl is absolutely, positively the polar opposite of Howard Stern. Grohl puts his heart and soul into every performance. The more successful he's gotten, the better he strives to be. There is no such thing as a bad Foo Fighters record. There isn't even such thing as a mediocre Foos record. When he's not making great Foo Fighters music, he fills his downtime by being in bands with members of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, and recording with groups like Queens of the Stone Age. As far as being in touch with his fans, Grohl will set up the band in a pizza shop and play a three hour warm up gig before playing a stadium show.
I'm pretty sure Howard couldn't name a third song that Grohl plays.
"Robin, Beth wanted to dance at the birthday show….Robin, Beth really knows how to dance."
