College graduates backed Clinton by a 9-point margin (52%-43%), while those without a college degree backed Trump 52%-44%. This is by far the widest gap in support among college graduates and non-college graduates in exit polls dating back to 1980.

The popular vote is meaningless for the exact reason there is an electoral college. So massive clusters of similar thinkers in concentrated areas don't rule everyone across a huge country. Gotta balance out the brainwashed ultra hippie white guilt california vote.

It seems pretty obvious that a great many that voted for Trump didn't vote for him at all. They voted against Clinton. Hasn't that sunk in yet with you geniuses?

I was and am glad Clinton lost. I'm not happy that Trump won. Maybe this is the first step in changing the system a bit. A system that is truly broken. If Clinton won the chance of true change would be zero. Since Trump won the chance may now be 0.00000003%. It's a start.

Your candidate alienated and ignored coastless states and called voters "deplorable". For a start you could learn to not tie your hopes to such a piece of shit.

For the record both sides have to learn to stop being cunts and do what is right for the people. You can be part of the problem and go with the "pendulum swing" thing but howzabout being better than that?

Looking back now and knowing that Hillary was a mistake (I doubt you'd admit that but humor me) would you consider an outsider from a 3rd party with apparently good morals and a willingness to do the right thing for the country vs. Trump? Someone not corrupted already. Are you gonna stay stuck in the "wasted vote" mentallity and stick to who other politicisn decide we should vote for?

BTW I know it'll never happen.

You act like it's anyone with a degree voted Clinton. If a football game score was 52-43 you'd say it was a pretty close game. Certainly not a blowout.

They should have made them specify the degree and nullified the liberal arts and other bullshit toilet paper. :jj:

I voted for Sanders in the primary.

Here's the problem with 3rd party: Show me a good candidate, any good candidate who ran third party in the last 30 years.

See, you are already dismissing the very idea. We're doomed.

So you'd rather have Trump than say Johnson from the Libertarians? He seems to have had a decent run as gov of New Mexico. He certainly didn't help himself in this last presidential run but, faults and all, I thought he was still a better bet than the two main buffoons.

IT's changed a whole lot from when I posted earlier. I suppose they are getting rid of the trolls. How many Trump fans are going to read it and rate it anyway? All of the 5 star reviews that I read sound like hard core hillary followers.

People who hate her and the fact that Amazon tries to protect her because they dig her politics should just order the book, then immediately return it. They get to to put a little comment in and Amazon pays shipping both ways.

    Fight tha power.

I don't care who's book it is, if you have nothing better to do than leave a shitty review for a product you didn't even buy, you are a fucking loser

We are talking about white college graduates. They supported Trump 51-47. The black and Hispanic college population as a percentage of that ethnicity population is far lower than whites. Taking a college sample based on total population demographics is deceptive statistics and that is what Google did here. In any case white college graduates preferred Trump.

Considering black population votes overwhelmingly Democratic regardless of issues, and Hispanic population was voting against Trump for mainly one reason, the white population was the best indicator of what college educated population preferred when you eliminate block voting patterns.
