I have Netflix and Hulu. Is AP worth it?
If you buy a lot of stuff online it is totally worth it. I don't even use the streaming service. It's worth it just for the free two day shipping.
It would be good for the free shipping but the streaming stuff isn't that great. They give you the same shitty movies as netflix and still charge you for good ones. And you get one free book a month on your kindle. I had the free trial for a month but I didn't use it enough to make it worth the price so I cancelled it.
In other words, what Veeb said.
I have gotten enough free shipping just with the Christmas shopping I have done to justify the $79.00.
It's awesome if you forget at the last minute that you need a gift for someone, because you can find something good and it will be here in two days, sometimes sooner.
I bought my parents Chromecast yesterday, and it got here today. I don't know how in the fuck they pulled that off.
I have an Amazon reward card. I cashed in like 60 dollars on an order. And just today I paid 3 dollars for 2 day shipping.
Thanks, VeeB. I'm gonna give it a shot.
what this person said. ive had it for about 9 years now, theyve added sunday deliveries where i live.
You will spend more cause u have it don't do it.
I've probably spent 1k + less by not having it for the first time this past year.
Sure I spent some of that elsewhere but I was buying just because. And besides why give amazon all my business, i support local and am more aware of that shit these days.
Got ALL my Christmas shopping done via Amazon Prime... Got everything delivered within two days, with zero delivery costs
The streaming video catalog is OK.. Netflix is more extensive (for the shows I watch, anyway)
The amazon rewards card is so much better. It's free money. Especially if you use amazon.com
I forgot, if you use the amazon card make sure you don't carry a balance.
AP is great, using it for the last couple of years. no complaints
I order shit instead of writing it down on a grocery list, and it's here before the next time I go shopping. Also, take advantage of their subscription service...regular monthly (or however long you need between shipping) autoships of toilet paper, food, whatever; it's cheaper because you're purchasing cases/multiples and get a discount for the subscription. It's cheaper, and more convenient.
i buy tons of stuff on line.
whether it's a $2.00 or a $100 dollar item, in two days or less, i have it.
i keep thinking they are going to get annoyed with the low dollar items i buy on a whim. but so far, so good.
i love prime.
They give you the option for normal shipping on items you're in no hurry for, and they repay you with credit towards free pay movie.
i tried to download a "free" book once. after a 1/2 hour i gave up.
i'll try the movies one of these days.
What happened stressed? I use their "lending library" all the time and it never takes more than a minute or two, its great.
Please don't tell me you have dial up.
I use my prime account almost daily for shipping, never movies. We have netflix we use for movies and such. I buy tons of shit from amazon warehouse which sells all of the returned/openbox/damaged boxed items at a large discount. All items from amazon warehouse have free two day shipping with prime.
do you think you buy more crap you don't need because amazon makes it so fucking easy?
