i will spend $0.0
That's ridiculous! Show me the American who can afford a 9.6 billion dollar Halloween costume!
Holidays are out of control
That's a lot of pumpkin beer
But it's mah faaaaaayvrit!
I love Halloween dress-up.
I don't decorate and I don't buy candy.
I almost always make my costume and buy it at the thrift store. I anticipate spending under $20 this year. My wig was around $11, that's the expensive part.
I had to buy 80 tons of candy just for school events wtf?!
What are you going to be
80 tons?! Me thinks you're exaggerating.
I never reveal beforehand.
I am but still. What a waste of money
And tons of cheap plastic costumes and decorations made in China.
Smart move. Can't spend what you don't have
No candy= house gets egged
I went to my husband's place (ours now) on Halloween for the first time. Not a single kid came to the door...in the past 5 years, not 'a one. We live in a cul-de-sac and dead end and I just don't think they bother. We find it to be a great day to go out to dinner too...plus, it's our dating anniversary. We don't really celebrate that now, but I like any excuse to go out.
