I still can't wait until this dreck of a show premieres against Masterchef (in the the first hour) and the new season of 24 (the second hour) and gets killed in the ratings. Jon Hein is going to have to go back from "Don't give me these type of shows are all tanking in the ratings because The Voice does boffo numbers" back to "You know there is just far too many of these TV talent shows and NBC must be doing cartwheels that AGT retained 80% of their audience from last year. It must be the Howard factor or the show would have tanked".
They are actually going up against new programming this time around and not just re-runs? I know 24 is just a mini-series and won't be on every week against it, but I just want to see this piece of shit show get buried by anything.
At 8PM both MasterChef and AGT premiere at the same day. AGT will only have to go about 8 weeks going up against 24 though since 24 premieres 3-4 weeks before AGT does. I don't know what AGT goes against on Wednesdays though. I am sure it is easier competition. Masterchef consistently beat AGT in the key 18-49 demo head to head last year (although AGT had a larger total number because old people like that show better). I am sure barring the new 24 being a total disaster, it will beat AGT in the 18-49 demo and total viewers.
