Three years after a 14-year-old boy wrote his phone number on a classroom board in hopes of picking up girls, his 34-year-old teacher has pleaded guilty to using those digits to contact him for sex. Former Florida science teacher Irene Khan, a previously married mother of two, confessed to initiating sexual relations with the teen after jotting down his number in 2012, WESH-TV reported. What followed were multiple romps in local motels, her car and apartment over several months' time with his 18-years older adviser, he told police. Khan was eventually fired from Imagine Charter School in West Melbourne but not for the sordid sex claims. WESH The now 34-year-old former teacher at Imagine Charter School, pictured, pleaded guilty Wednesday to lewd and lascivious battery. Before that scandal emerged she was instead reportedly canned for inappropriate behavior in her classroom which included showing tattoos to students. The ex-teacher, who was charged with lewd and lascivious battery, entered her guilty plea Wednesday. With that plea she was sentenced to two years of community control followed by 10 years' probation. She must also register as a sex offender, cannot have any contact with children beyond her own and is forbidden from wearing anything that may appeal to children, including Santa and Easter Bunny costumes. If she's caught wearing such an outfit she risks 30 years in prison.
