Need a phone to stick in a car, would be for music, streaming Sirius, running a map app etc.

Never liked Apple, seems like they force you to use their bullshit music files.

What's a good phone for running multiple apps, maybe some in the background. Phone/video/ top screen resolution won't really matter.

I've had the Samsung Galaxy phones for years now and have zero complaints.

All but the S6 I believe have micro SD card slots so you can add 128gb of memory for around $30.

Not owning a car from 1992 would be a good start.

Sounds pretty good what's the story with the contract. Is it typically a free phone if you sign on for 3 years or whatever?

I assume SG is compatible with most apps in the way Microsoft is? (vs Apple's proprietary nonsense)

I've had contracts with either Verizon or Sprint for years. Both have been equally awful. Lol.

They all have their issues I guess.

Android uses Google play store. Same concept as Apple. I was a long time iPhone guy and thought I'd hate the switch. I'll never go back now.

As a matter of fact, if you get serious let me know. I think I actually have 2 new S5's in my office. We ended up with two more than we needed. I've been meaning to list them on eBay or something.

I completely forgot about that until now.

If youre getting a contract tho you're probably right about getting a free phone.

Remember to make sure it has a micro SD card. He phones typically come with 16 or 32 gigs. Software and operating systems can take up 8 or so.

I always buy the cheapest, low gig model and use 128 gig cards.

If that's all you're looking for they have decent HTC phones at boost mobile for like 50 bucks. Cost you like 50 a month for unlimited everything. You'll pay much more with a contract.

This will probably send you into full meltdown mode, but I have a DVD and not a blu ray player. And I stream Netflix through my Xbox 360 cause I don't have a smart TV.

    I hope you're okay.
