Today's 42-7 blowout lost to the Giants marks Andy Reid's last game as Eagles head coach. After 13 years, Reid has been fired from the position. According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the former coach learned he was given the axe on Friday from owner Jeffrey Lurie. The Eagles, who finishes this season 4-12, are expected to make the parting official tomorrow in an announcement. Reid has led the Eagles to five NFC Championship games and to Super Bowl XXXIX, where they lost to the Patriots.

He'll have his choice of about 7 different head coaching positions.

If I were him, I'd take the San Diego job. Already have an established quarterback, and some decent parts and pieces.

I'm anxious to see who is dumb enough to take the Chiefs job out here.

Only if Mike Holmgren stays as GM.

I've read articles that suggest he'll go to San Diego if Norv Turner is canned

I can't believe Norv will keep his job, though I felt the same way after the '10 & '11 regular seasons.

    holmgren been gone since September.

Also, whoever said San Diego has a good quarterback has no clue what they are talking about. Go to the bar and talk recipes.

Here, i will connect this to Howard Stern:

One time Howard said, "Andy Reid's so fat he looks like if you stuck a fork in his head, gravy would come pouring out"

I laughed and then was annoyed when i realized it was probably a Benjy line. I still hope it was a somewhat original Howard thought.

    Same.

I hope he takes a year off then comes back to coaching.

I'm looking forward to Philly hiring some douchebag and losing for the next decade. Those fans are pieces of shit and never satisfied.

Hated him. So overrated. Lived off having great coaches. As soon as most were gone, he was lost.

Team totally quit on him. He had to go.

Be interesting to see if Chip Kelly comes in from Oregon.
