BY Rachelle Blidner NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Saturday, February 14, 2015, 4:09 PM A police investigation is underway after an Ontario mother claimed she found drugs inside the box of Angry Birds telepods. These Angry Birds were flying high. Canadian parents were shocked to find $800 worth of marijuana in their 4-year-old son's Angry Birds toys Wednesday, CTV News reported. Lewis Pagayatan bought his son Angry Birds Telepods — action figures based off the popular game — for $5 at the Target store in Brampton, Ontario. When the boy's mother, Monika Milewska, opened the box at home, she found an illicit prize inside — 85 grams of marijuana, Peel Regional Police said. "That night my son was horrified," Milewska said. "He could not sleep on his own and kept asking us questions - why was it in his toy? Who put it there? What was it?" Peel police examined other toys at the Target store but did not find any more drugs, Constable Thomas Ruttan said. They are reviewing police footage and return receipts to find whoever placed it there. "We may have to go back a month," he said. "We don't know how long it was there." Target gave the boy a replacement toy, but his parents are upset that they have to explain what drugs are to a 4-year-old. "I guess Target lived up to their slogan, 'Expect more, pay less," Milewska said.
