Well, it's an improvement over the Kardashian/Jenner nonsense....anything is.
The NY Daily News is going back to the ages of "hard hitting news".
God bless capitalism!
I agree that we need to find a way to keep guns away from psychopaths and criminals but I'm not outraged at the money they make. I'm more outraged at the money in the oil and medical industries.
I'm more outraged how a politician can make 150,000 a year for 6 years and come out being a millionaire.
The profits they make are not really that much. One guy made a million. big whoop.
1.9 seems low
I was at the Crossroads of the West gun show today and it was very busy. Lots of new faces, new potential gun owners.
Spoke to one of the nations largest Glock distributors. Sales go through the roof after every mass media covered shooting event.
Yeah that was the wrong tack to take for the article. Oil company executives wipe their ass with 1million dollars. Hospitals that charge $5000/day minimum to lie in a bed without any care cost factored in and medications that cost $20 per pill are way more infuriating.
Yeah compare that to oil companies, go after their ass and the price gouging, i have no problem with that.
Exxon/Mobile US$ 394.105 billion (2014) Profit
Obama has been the most successful gun salesman of all time.
They're still trying to be edgy I see.
The press gives them all the free advertising....that results in the sales spikes.
ergo the Daily News are terrorists as well.
Additionally....Baseball players did not "tell kids steroids work"....the press did...and congress validated it.
The press and congress are responsible for kids getting that idea.
This logic is fun...
Cool. I was at Crossroads last Saturday and saw a guy shoot his friend at the table next to the one I was standing at.
Let me guess, they were fighting over the last brick of 22L.
My simple solution would be before buying a gun along with the background check and safety courses needed the buyer should also have to submit to a psych test specifically designed for gun ownership to determin the persons well being.
Agreed. However I do understand the hesitation about that.
For instance...I'm of the opinion that if someone lacks the judgement not to murder anyone than they can't be trusted to vote either...or drive...
There is a disqualifier that those who were involuntarily committed cannot have weapons. I'm not comfortable with just that...people that would see a shrink because of a bad break up scare me. Someone that would be so messed up over love might hunt down and kill their ex..and the new bf or gf. Naturally all the people that applies to will freak out if my opinion held any weight.
Courses should be mandatory and they need to demonstrate they can aim. A sane person with perfect intentions that can't aim is nobody I want near me. Eye tests too.
Does anyone even read newspapers anymore?
Hey guys it's Christmas. Lighten up.
