BY Jason Silverstein NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Wednesday, February 4, 2015, 6:08 PM Miami County Sheriff's Office Michelle Ladd, 41, allegedly had sex with two of her underage students and spent thousands of dollars buying them gifts, including guns and alcohol. This gives a new meaning to "alternative schooling." A teacher in a tiny Indiana town allegedly had sexual relationships with two underage students, bought them alcohol and even got guns for one of them. Michelle Ladd, 41, worked with middle and high school students in alternative school programs for the Maconaquah School Corporation in Bunker Hill. She was arrested Monday and now faces five felony charges, including child seduction and illegal transfer of handguns, Fox59 reported. Police said her first relationship started in 2010 with a 17-year-old student. Ladd allegedly told him he could work on a farm owned by her and her husband to earn cash, and they started having sex months later. She spent thousands of dollars buying him alcohol and two cars, court papers said. Ladd allegedly started another relationship in 2013 with a 17-year-old student shortly after he got out of a juvenile detention center. Police said she bought him handguns, which he wasn’t allowed to own after his conviction, and alcohol, the Kokomo Tribune reported. Ladd admitted to both sexual relationships when police interviewed her.
