I've gone through and listened to a bunch of the episodes. Only real clunker was Michael Nesmith.

Son of heavyweight boxing champ Max Baer. Played Jethro on Beverly Hillbillies, then I think went into directing and producing.

I was just listening to this episode yesterday. I thought it was pretty good, except for Max crying about his dad's portrayal in Ron Howard and Penny Marshall movie.

No way. Nesmith was one of the better episodes. The real clunkers were the one with the Problem Child kid (horrible interview with lots of dead air) and the recent Ron Chaney one.

I didn't listen to Problem Child or the other guy.

2 I really liked, aside from Jethro, were Butch Patrick and Penn Jillette. Oh, also the one w/ Karloff's daughter and Lugosi's son.

It's good. With the once-a-weekers I let myself get back-logged so I can marathon. These threads remind me I'm past due for a catch-up.

I think he also directed his Jethro cock into Ellie May.

As he got older, he had that Jack Horner/Boogie Nights era look about him.

    He was mad mad.

I love Gilbert's podcast. I think we should start a gofundme to be his sponsor of the month and have him talk about the shed. And we should start a Gilbert forum. The ad may bring over new people to the new forum.

I couldn't remember who the painful one was until a week or so ago. Why that kid agreed to be interviewed was beyond me. Getting him to talk was like pulling teeth.

Haven't heard Ron Chaney. I like to let my podcast episodes build up then binge listen.

Like Gilbert, I am a huge Universal horror movie fan. Unfortuately Chaney wasn't a very good interview. They didn't unearth any stories that I didn't already know. It wasn't an awful show, just a little disapointing.

Wouldn't be surprised if they gave a costume designer a pic of him and said, "This is what Burt should be." Total cheesy 70s Hollywood.
