    Howdy,

Again I'm posting this late. My excuse for today is that we went out to eat. We went to Ted's Montana Grill which is a chain that's known for serving bison. I looked at their menu online and it seemed interesting so we decided to check it out. Here you go...

    On Tonight's Menu:

    Ted's Montana Grill...

We started out with their Salt & Pepper Onion Rings, they were served with a Horseradish Sauce on the side. They were some of the best onion rings I've ever had...

Sweetie ordered the Avalon Bison Burger Medium Rare its a Bison Burger topped with melted Gruyere Cheese, Bleu Cheese, Caramelized Onions, Arugula, Garlic Aioli, & Bacon on what the menu specified as an "Onion Bun", but was obviously one of those crappy Sunbeam buns served with a side of fries. The burger was not medium rare, by the way....

I ordered the Canyon Creek Bison Burger Medium Rare, a Bison Patty topped with Bacon, Fresh Jalapeno, Cheddar, Blackberry Jam, and a Sunny Side Up Egg. The egg was perfect, its was as spicy as a Twinkie, speaking of Twinkie, the bread was the same sad Sunbeam buns. My burger wasn't Medium Rare either. I figured out by tasting and looking at the burger that they are made ahead of time and they stay warmed in a stainless steel in their own "juices" for an indeterminate amount of time...

Overall, the food was decent, but not worth $15 per burger that we paid alone for burgers, not including the onion rings and drinks. I don't recommend it, nor will we be back. I guess they all can't be across the board winners. :dontknow:

...anyways, here's the music. Bansky really started making me think about songs from my childhood, and when my mother was a teenager, she loved Cher. Actually, she stopped liking Cher when she started singing in that gruff horse-voice. Cher is pretty lame all-around, but she sometimes has her good moments including my song for tonight. Its a beautiful song, so don't knock me until you've listened to it. I present to thee Cher with "Where Do You Go":

Talk about your food, your music, bad restaurant experiences, just be yourself.

Hope all is well, you're all adorable to me. :toptip:

They were fine burgers, but not worth $15 each. I expect a better bun and fresh meat for $15. :)

I would have enjoyed them as $6 burgers.

Again, good burgers, but a total ripoff.

Thank you, sir! I like taking a break from cooking, but constantly I catch the shortcuts that some places take from my experiences and i always think "I could have made this better at home.". I wasn't made about it, nor did we cause any problems for the staff, but it was far from superb.

That egg was perfect and those onion rings were great though. :)

I totally agree and love Nico more than Cher. My mom was a total square, so I had to discover The Velvet Underground and Nico when I turned 14.

I ate at a Teds in Denver. I thought it was great.

Obviously I'm not as sophisticated as you.

Nope. I'm thin, but thank you for bringing your all-over negative demeanor to my thread! :toptip:

...and I'm sorry that no one loves you enough to take you to a restaurant. :nocheer:

...you should see the portions at restaurants these days...so many leftovers!

Great band!!! I've seen them a couple times and I saw At the Drive-In a boatload of times.

I saw a buffalo sneeze once. It was so gross I get the heaves just thinking about it. Burgers look good though. I forgive you for being late.

    Bison is awesome!!! :cheer:

It had nothing to do with sophistication and more with my burger not being served to the done-ness that was asked of me...the middle was brown.

Also, I expect to find a $15 burger on a bun that I can't find at WalMart for $2 a dozen per bag.

Unlike you, I don't like being robbed. :dontknow:

If that burger would have been $6 I would have been raving about it. Those onion rings were well worth the $6 that we paid. They were incredible.

    I'm certain you'll think its shit. :)
