I made steak in the cast.

just used mine for a couple ribeys tonight.. there was a plume of smoke coming off it when I dropped the steaks in

I love steak. That doesn't look like something I'm dying to eat though.
Did they taste good? That is all that matters. Not how they were cooked, what temp they were or how much they were seared.
Yea needs a lil sear. I do 30 sec then half turn 30 sec flip for a min on other side. 800º then over to low for 3 min a side. perfect cross hatch and medium rare inside.
I ate steak for dinner. It was great a few days ago, blah today.
