The school is also encouraging students to walk in pairs and take their headphones and earbuds out. “The University of Texas is a community. It Is a family. When a tragedy occurred on campus, in our home, we have to come together and watch out for each other and support each other,” said Fenves on Tuesday afternoon. Students were sent an alert from UTPD around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Counseling services are available for students."
