Settle a situation for me, if you will. Say a dealer fucks-up during a stud game and mistakenly flips the last card of one of the players up (7 card stud games deal last card down)...I'm pretty sure the player gets a choice on whether to keep the card, but if they refuse the card, is the remainder of the deck (including the upturned card) then reshuffled, and then the final down cards dealt out to the players? This seems incorrect to me, but another player at a private game tonight swears that's how the Hard Rock casino would handle the situation. I can understand the player having the right to refuse the card in favor of a properly-dealt down card, but I would think they would get the next card in the deck (with the refused card discarded), without a reshuffle. Am I wrong here?
