Seen ELPs Brain Salad Surgery tour absolutely blitzed on acid - was a memorable experience

I'm very envious of you. Did Kieth Emerson do the spinning piano?

Thanks guys for all the comments.

One of my favourite progrock songs is Yes -Close to the edge.
Saw them live a short time ago. Unfortunately without Jon Anderson as the lead singer. But the rest of the guys where tight as hell.

The lyrics are also some the best they have ever done in my opinion. Especially if you are drunk or stoned :artiejj:

"The lyrical content became a kind of dream sequence in a way.
The end verse is a dream that I had a long time ago about passing on from this world to another world, yet feeling so fantastic about it that death never frightened me ever since."

    -Jon Anderson

New album from Chris Squire (Yes) and Steve Hackett (Genesis).

I should listen more to prog rock. Don't know if Dream Theater fall in that category or not. Transatlantic are also very cool.
