I'm in the mood to listen to an audio book on my commute to & from work.

    Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of this one, something that I read about 1/2 way through already but haven't finished.

Stern related because Gunkard shills for audiobooks.com despite giving countless shit to Monkey Boy for listening.

I find autobiographies the easiest to process in traffic. I liked Life by Keith Richards and Who I Am by Pete Townshend.

Got them on CD from the library so it was win win. Helps that I'm a fan of both.

I have never listened to an audio book.

I do subscribe to many podcasts to make my 2.5 hour round trip somewhat pleasant.

Townshend reads his and he's good too. Laughs at stuff and so forth.

Richards has Johnny Depp for the first part, a British guy who's good in the second part, and Keith does the last couple of chapters and is great.

I'm sure this will sound lame but I listened to the audio book of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter during my workouts and really dug it. :D

There is a lot being published in YA fiction, and with some excellent narrators who perform the books rather than merely read them aloud.
Jim Butcher and Kevin Hearne are two of the big name authors in this (although it is called urban fiction)

I've been playing this one in the car.
Some good stuff. Would make a good radio show.
I started listening on Monday, was done Wednesday. I felt a little cheated.

I need to listen to upbeat music on the elliptical machine or I'm not making it long. Anything that bores me or makes me laugh ( which that would ) is going to be counterproductive.
