The female members didn't get into the good actors thread so much. Who are the good female actresses today?

I say Meryl Streep is still great. I also like Anne Hathaway and Rachel McAdams. I like Rachel McAdams as a blonde, brunette, redhead, or black haired, she's always cute. Are these actresses better or worse than than the old time female Hollywood stars to the women here?

    Tits, ass, etc.

If those go, the actress goes.

i can't watch rachel mcadams....there's something about her that i find repulsive and she isn't a very good actress. meryl streep is excellent (of course) but i also think rachel weisz and jessica chastain are the best of the youngish actresses. they make acting look easy because they are so natural and believable and the camera really loves them.

Spoken like a true Howard Stern fan. Are you a homo like Howard? I like a woman with sagging boobs okay. When she is on her back, the tits look just as good as they do on a perky 20 year old.

Surprised you say that about Rachel McAdams. I thought women would like her. Damn, she's cute.

Watch the Deer Hunter. She's great and her chemistry with Robert DeNiro is off the charts.

I think Meryl Streep is legendary and nobody comes close to her skills. Susan Sarandon is pretty damn good, too, but people get turned off by her politics. They're my faaaaavorites.

As for the younger ones, I totally agree that Rachel McAdams is top-shelf. Cate Blanchett is really talented (although not sure she belongs in the 'young' group). My mind is kind of drawing a blank - I can think of gorgeous young actresses, but not necessarily 'great' with regard to performing.

Rooney Mara? Is she the spawn of the New York Giants (the Maras) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (Rooneys) founding families? That Carey Mulligan is way to boyish looking for my tastes. I bet Howard Stern would dig her.

Such a terrific film - her first - and John Cazale, her fiance, got her the part.

A few years back, HBO had a short documentary on Cazale. It was fabulous. Streep spoke at length about him - she was really in love with the guy and everything she said about him was so heart-felt and touching.

I love Rachael McAdams, but don't think she's the greatest actress. Just hot.

As far as new girls, I love Olivia Wilde and Anna Kendrick. So hot; so talented. It's stupid.
