I just finished watching the Eureka series finale on the DVR. Excellent show - sad that SyFy did not renew it for a sixth season. I'm sort of watching Warehouse 13 but I'm not going to get too invested because I'm sure SyFy will cancel it soon. I really enjoyed Stargate SGI, Stargate Atlantis and all of the Star Trek series. Are there any good sci-fi shows on now? What else is good?

I haven't seen Warehouse 13 in a long time, but I liked it. Especially the red-head skanklet....I didn't think it was still on.

I will have to check out Eureka. SyFy is flaky with the handling of their shows, for a while I thought they would cancel Battlestar Galactica during the 3rd season when it wasn't drawing strong ratings compared to earlier. All the shows you mentioned are fantastic. Also a fan of Babylon 5 and all of the spin off movies. Currently I have no idea what is even on anymore since these shows turnover so fast. :jj:

Star Wars The Clone Wars is darn good. The last couple seasons have been dark and violent.

The new BSG is great...the spinoff Caprica is good, too.

I just couldn't get into Caprica.

I thought it was sorta, kinda dull.

But the Cylons looked neato. :coffee:

One of my favorite TV memories ever was the first few seasons of the X-Files, before they watered it down and killed it....

i think that was because chris carter and the producers / directors had a disagreement: they wanted to make epic sci fi and he didn't.

This. Never cared for prequels (shows or movies)they rarely deliver as the original. Look at Episodes I-III complete disgrace to the SW franchise. Between that annoying piece of shit JarJar Binks and that little faggot kid who played Anakin Skywalker, I wanted to punch them both in the face :jj: I take it back EpIII made up for it a little but as a whole, meh.

It was different...a lot of story, and a slow building of tension. I really liked it.
