Next month, Nov 22, will be the 50 year anniversary. Would love some fresh material, or at least a better organized version of "Who killed Kennedy".

I havent seen anything advertising it.. there's got to be something more than just a standard 1 hour special that night, on Disc, History, and NatGeo...

Im also looking forward to all the 100 year anniversary WW1 shit that will be coming the next 4 years!:c

There is a movie in theaters, something called Parkland (or whatever the name of the Dallas Hospital that treated the president after the shooting).

It's been proven to death that 1 man could easily pull off those shots so many times now that I doubt there's any money in it now. Camelot style docu's should abound though.

i have no doubts that he could fire 3 shots in 7 seconds,
I have no doubts Oswald was in the snipers nest.
(Oswald was the only person in the building during the shots, that left after the shots).

whether he could hit a moving target, and whether that final kill shot came from behind Kennedy, this is where i have my doubts.

    Rubys mob ties

Kennedys disgust with Vietnam policy (arrest and assassination of Ngo Dinh Diem)

maybe nothing new, but a fresh perspective would be welcome.

hopefully not. it's time to put JFK in perspective and stop treating him like a saint. if he had lived he would have been as corrupt and mediocre as every other man who has become president.
he was deeply flawed and over the years i have lost all respect i may have ever had for him. as a woman, i have come to loathe everything about him.

When a target moves at a constant speed in a straight line a bolt action is the perfect weapon. You only need to eject/reload w/o removing your aim and it gives you the time while sliding the bolt to make the miniscule corrections needed. A semi auto you need to re-aim without having the pause that the bolt action allows. It would seem easier with the semi auto but the speed causes mis-aiming.

This week's National Enquirer ironically comes out with the TRUTH! There was a second gunman on the hill. I kid you not!

Nova is doing a special called Cold Case JFK. PBS is doing a program called Secrets of the Dead:One PM Central Standard. Smithsonian Channel is doing a documentary with Kevin Spacey called The Day Kennedy Died. The History Channel and American Experience will also have new JFK related specials. If you like books, check Amazon for a list of new books on the assassination due out next month.

I saw Parkland last night. Zac Efron is the doctor who works on Kennedy. It was good. But I kind of got bored after LBJ was sworn in. So I havent finished.

Saint or not, JFK was killed for his politics. That is what matters.

I have read a good number of books about the JFK assassination, and watched a few films as well. I am aware of no evidence supporting the conclusion that "1 man could easily pull off those shots." With any gun, let alone with the alleged gun, which incidentally had a misaligned scope.

Who is the source for this statement, and how could he/she know this as a fact? There was chaos after the assassination. And there was more than one entrance/exit to the TSBD building. And the entrances/exits were not sealed off within seconds, but rather minutes. I don't know how many minutes, exactly, but I do know that the sealing off of the building was not immediate.

Also, Oswald left the building within what period of time after the assassination? Thirty seconds? Two minutes? Five minutes?

I swooned with delight reading that book his former intern wrote about their affair.
It was really a different time back then. Light security, White House swimming pool, suite at the Caryle . . .
