Looks easy and fun. Not sure how long it will last though.
But anyone tried it and had success?
I have no idea what you're typing about.
oh wait, is that fantasy football stuff?
Some fantasy football gambling stuff
Oh and hello, BF
Goo morning, Shiv.
I don't understand how these are legal but online cards and sports gambling isn't.
No way it lasts.
They advertise the shit out of it here
I'd rather play the lottery.
On HBO's Real Sports they did a segment about this. If you play you are going up against guys who are computer geniuses and use some kind of algorithms they make up to give them an advantage. It's like an amateur poker player playing against the top guys. Sure you might win a hand here and there but the odds are stacked against you big time.
I have a friend who's a pretty big fantasy guy and gambles on nfl. He told me he tried it and it was difficult. I think this take from HBO is probably pretty accurate
UltimateBet still owes me $325 fuck this shit!
I am trying it for the first time this week. Just doing a $2 league.
You have a salary cap so I'm sure the computers help compile the most valuable team on paper, but the players still have to play the game. No computer can accurately predict the outcomes on the field.
let me know how it goes. im tempted to do a small bet like that too
it is legal because its considered a game of skill
never tried it
I think it could be fun but I'm not willing to bet enough to make it worth doing
Selling covered calls in the stock market was fun too in that time was your ally. In a sense, you were the bank and you sold timed rights to a stock.
looks like you have a salary cap. so its not like you can grab all the best guys and put them on a team.
how is there an algorithm for this? fantasy football is all luck
I am not sure but the Inside Sports segment showed a guy who was some kind of math whiz who created a program that analyzes a bunch of statistics and tells him which players have a higher probablility of scoring more points.
well, i could figure that out. but the term "any given sunday" really means something. LeSean McCoy has sucked balls, Peterson beat his kid, etc. anything can happen
