I've been pretty happy with my Verizon FIOS TV/internet/phone bundle over the last several years, but I received a letter a couple months ago announcing that Frontier Communications had purchased all of Verizon's customers in California and a few other states. The official changeover took effect on 1 April and thus far anyway, the transition's been something of a goat rope. It's been a week now and we still don't have basic services like any of our On Demand programming or access to the previously aired content that many of the cable networks make available free online if you sign in through your cable provider. Just registering the new account at their website is a 24 hour process as we wait for their "database to update" and while live chatting with one of their cust svc people, I received one actual message in about a 15 minute period. Anyway, not really bitching just yet, but I was curious if we had any long standing Frontier customers here and what their opinion of the company might be. All I know is that Frontier never impressed me much as an airline.
