I'd like to see the ratings when Stern was on Kimmel, anybody have them?
the highest in the history of television
which day was he on?
* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.3/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 3.3/8; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 4.2/10; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.3/7.
* In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,†3.1/8; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,†3.0/8; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,†3.1/7; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,†1.7/5.
if it was tuesday, looks like a 26% drop in ratings from monday's show
....baaaah hahahahahaaa stern did a tv show and nobody was watching
It was the #1 Late Night talk show hosted by someone under 50.
"Nobody knows when that show is on, Robin. One day he's in LA, then he's doing the show in New York, it's very confusing. Two different time zones. You can't confuse the viewer."
Kimmel's show was not on Monday night I believe (maybe a re-run. Comparing when Stern was on Tuesday to one of the shows from the previous week, it was a ratings disaster:
"Featuring First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, in her debut appearance on Thursday (10/25/12), ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” surged to its most-watched telecast (2.367 million) and its highest-rated among Adults 18-49 (855,000) on any night since June – since 6/12/12 and 6/21/12, respectively. In fact, the Thursday telecast drew the show’s largest overall audience on the night in 5 1/2 years -- since 5/3/07."
no, monday was live. looks like howie got smoked by chris rock and kelly ripa
From "Madagascar 3," comic Chris Rock; from "Live with Kelly and Michael," host Kelly Ripa; musical guest Alicia Keys.
From "The Howard Stern Show," radio host Howard Stern; from "30 Rock," actor Tracy Morgan; musical guest Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.
I am sure it was canceled:
Even Jimmy Kimmel is no match for Frankenstorm.
The late-night host planned to bring Jimmy Kimmel Live Back to Brooklyn, N.Y., all this week, but Hurricane Sandy caused the funnyman to cancel Monday night's show.
"Though it pains us to do it, JKLfrom #Brooklyn tonight is cancelled," Kimmel tweeted Monday. "I'm disappointed too, but we want you to be safe."
No one could find it Robin
oh, ok. so it got crushed by a repeat...wow, that's even worse
i'll post last night's ratings to compare as soon as they come out!
Sweet! More photoshop base material to work with!
Behold, The Stern effect..........Sorry Jimmy, I still love ya's...................
Did Hamptons take anytime on Kimmel to give sympathies or concern for the people that were smashed by Sandy? He seemed to be focused on making an ass of himself and insulting Jimmy and his family..........
check out the kimmel clips (720)
I didn't even go through all of them.
3 wigggy clips
2 wiggy with Tracy Morgan clips.
FYI because of the storm:
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night (averages currently exclude seven markets, including some of the country’s biggest: New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, Baltimore, Hartford, Providence and Columbus):
the rating being posted don't include the east coast's biggest markets
Ok---so here's a more fair comparison
* In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 3.1/8; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 3.0/8; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,” 3.1/7; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.7/5.
* In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 2.7/7; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 2.8/7; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,” 3.1/8; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 2.0/6.
The previous Tuesday and Wednesday Kimmel had a 1.6/4. share.
Given the fact that most of the Northeast wasn't counted it's hard to estimate what the true ratings would have been. I would anticipate that there would have been a bump of 1 or 2 points
