(HS related because SXM is now on Roku) The internet cost thread led to me thinking about how we all can save $$. I really enjoy my Roku. I don't have a lot of idle TV viewing time, but the Roku player convinced me to drop the crappy cable channels entirely, and I've never missed them. I use a small antenna in my attic for over the air signals and a Roku to explore other channels. Without putting much effort into research I have about 120 channels saved, probably view about ten most of the time! You can also use the device to view your Netflix, or Amazon Prime subscriptions, etc. There are hundreds of "hidden channels" that one can go online to get the code and add to your player if you wish. That's an area I looked into a bit about a year ago but need to revisit. With the Media Player apps you can access an external drive and play movies, etc. Pretty cool device. If you use a Roku, please share your experience and any cool channels or programs we should look into.
