I've been skiing since I could walk, my kids can now out ski me on a mountain. Ice fishing? Snow mobiling? I ran into a tree when I was in 8th grade, broke my shoulder, lucky I didn't die.

I skied Squaw Valley in college, couldn't believe the difference in snow quality from northern VT and NH, it was beautiful. I grew up skiing on ice.

They do a good job keeping it fresh powder. Squaw has some great runs too.

Never been out east. I guess we dozed more trees down. The slopes are way to crowded here these days. It sucks.

Those are called glades right? I grew up on "trails" you have to watch your back so you don't crash into someone coming down beside you. They get narrow.

I'll go to Big Bear every now and then but, it's usually too crowded.

I am actually fortunate enough to be in the industry as they say! Grew up in the east/midwest skiing and snowboarding and now live and work in Colorado. This season is off to a very slow and sad start for us. :(

Whistler however is KILLING it already! Of course it helps to have a copter when the lifts arent spinning and all...... Still BAD ass for November!
