I just spread some around the back of my house to get rid of these noisy fuckers. When they burrow themselves next to the house they sound like their inside and disturb my TV viewing. Supposedly they ingest the earth dust which is like gargling razor blades to humans. It cuts their exoskeletons to shreds and ends their miserable existence.

I have tried it and it didn't work very effectively. I went back to the old fashion chemicals.

Fuckers are in my garage everywhere. Sometimes find their way into the house. I'm hesitant to use poison because of my kids and dog but for every one of them I kill, 5 more come back. May have to consider burning the house down.

I use it on my chickens, in their food too.
No mites, lice, anything. They eat any cricket that they see, so it's kinda like I'm using it on crickets.

Oh, and don't use the stuff for pools- completely different product.
Buy the bug stuff at a feed store- you get a dogfood sized bag for under $20. If you buy a little container of it as a pesticide, you'll pay $7 for a small amount.

I've put it on my cats as a natural flea killer. It works ok, but if you are infested you might need something else.

Watch for it, you'll see a cover corner at Texas A&M named Diatomaceous before long.

I've been using it in my yard for a few years now, seems to be working on fleas and other insects although there's no way to tell if it's the diatomaceous earth or something else that's reducing the bugs. Since it's cheap, non-toxic, and easy to use it's worth a try.

    I prefer more humane methods.
    1. Smashing with hammer

    2. Stomping with an old pair of boots

    3. Hosing the yard for 50' around the house down with traditional insecticides.

I have that stuff spread around a few area of my house right now trying to get a flea problem under control before it gets bad. Be sure to use "food grade" especially if youre using it in your house. Its completely safe for humans etc.
