They are pretty easy to fix. What is wrong with yours?

Make sure they're unplugged and use soap and water.

Can't go wrong with Maytag, Whirlpool or Kenmore. I prefer the standard top loading machines. The front loaders need that high efficiency detergent and they also can get moldy if you don't keep them clean.

If you need a new one, get a front loader, the W&D sets pay for themselves in a couple years.

But what is wrong with your current one?

guy just looked at it - the bearings are toast and the shock thing is broken - said it would cost $500 and new ones are that much. It is 11 years old - came with the house I bought.

I did everything possible to keep fixing my old one because i didn't want a front loader that hardly usse any water. Saving water is fine, but not is I'm fkn trying to wash stuff.
But... I got one and it's amazing. Love it.

You are fucked. I don't personally like the front loaders. I don't think they get the clothes as clean. Plus they get that mold and odor. My wife loves ours. I wouldn't recommend LG. The LED panels are going out on ours. Plus we've had our LG dishwasher repaired about 5 times.
