An unreleased song from when Dave Navarro was with the band has surfaced. I enjoy it
every ten years they create a hit
I liked Flea in "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".
the really funky stuff i like
Used to, got sick of them though.
Yep, totally. Really, the only Peppers I consistenly liked were Slovak years. They have some good stuff here and there, but the funky stuff (Uplift mofo party plan, and Freaky Styley) are good shit.
Those dudes really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really love California.
These Navarro years were bizarre (I think the only album they reelased was "One Hot Minute." It created a completely different vibe for the band. As much as I LOVE Janes Addiction, I dont know how good of a fit he was for the RHCP.
I actually liked that era but most of their hardcore fans don't. I saw them on the One Hot Minute tour and they were great. It was at the Boston Garden and Flea is a lakers faggot so he pulled down his pants and showed his bum.
if you see me getting high, slap me five.
It used to bother me, until I read Kiedis' autobiography (ironically, after I stopped listening to the band), and realized that the dude is the personification of Los Angeles.
Its an interesting time, for sure. The band kind of explored a more darker tone. Not that they didnt touch upon heavy stuff before, but this one just seemed....I dont know... bleak?
I remember Kiedis had a relapse around this time....perhaps that had something to do with it, along with Navarros sound.
saw janes addiction at voodoo in october, they are sounding as great as ever..
seeing the RHCP at jazz fest i expect the same
The early days, with guy that died from heroin.
yeah, those were good years.
Turned that cherry pie right into jam
Nice, I saw them a few years ago, not expecting much, and was beyond impressed
rhcp was a terrible show for me though. Kiedis can't hear himself
