    I only care about six awards. (Best actor/actress, best supporting actor/actress, movie and director)


    The original Oscars lasted 15 minutes. They really should revisit that format.

    Fucking all the dancing, singing, horrible comedy bullshit. And fuck cutting off the recipients' speeches. Announce and present the winners and wrap it the fuck up in one hour.

    i hate the fucking oscars!!!! i live right by san vicente blvd here in LA. and they close it for a huge Oscar party between melrose and santa monica blvd and fuck up my whole day

    Right here, I could give a fuck less. I would rather watch a real time recording of plant growth than watch phony fucking celebrities suck each others dicks for excelling at playing "pretend". Don't get me wrong I love movies but celebrity worship is going to be the downfall of our culture. See Beth Ostrosky Stern for an example.

    By doubling the number of Best Picture nominees from 5 to 10, they've turned it into the NHL or NBA where almost everyone makes the playoffs. It had to be with marketing in mind. Now twice as many pics can claim that they were nominated for an Oscar. Won't watch. I can read the results on the internets in 5 minutes. Much more economical than watching Ellen DeGeneres host a 5 hour show.
