His attorney is crying about too much media involvement and that they are making a spectacle out of the arraignment. Thats the fault of the prosecution? No, thats the fault of a high profile athlete/celebrity deciding to commit 3 murders. It's only the biggest sports-crime story in US history, why would the media be interested? :coffee:

This is all happened because the murdered person bumped into the Hernandez on the dance floor and spilled him drink on him at a club. He "disrespected him".

What a freaking moron Hernandez is. Threw away a posh sports star life because he got some harmless liquid spilled on him and was disrespected. :rolleye2:

I love how he pleads not guilty but the evidence being read out clearly just shows it was him and he murdered them. What a dope.

Hey, you got the right to roll with any avatar you please! I just keep looking at it like " that giraffe sure is having a hard time swallowing!" I think that's what's going on. Or it is a rapidly deflating giraffe balloon maybe. :dontknow:

it's all about admissible evidence and proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Whoever snitched made a deal and their credibility will be shaky

OJ was a higher profile athlete and there was the racial aspect of the trial, which makes a fair argument as to why its the biggest. But OJ killed his wife and who was more than likely fucking around with other guys and the pool boy in one incident.

IMO, Hernandez is the sicker killer making this a bigger sports crime. For one, more people were killed over a longer period of time. And two, If Aaron Hernandez is guilty of these 3 charges, the guy is a fucking gangster. He didn't kill his wife out of passion, he murdered Odin Lloyd to cover up two murders he had already committed.

The timeline of this story is insane! He killed two people (allegedly), then he played an entire season with the Patriots, went to the Pro Bowl, and signed an extension! The following offseason, he took out the witness (Odin Lloyd). And since he's been locked up, three fucking people connected to the case have died.

if you don't know much about the story, check out this page that breaks down the timeline. Mind blowing

Hernandez is a psychopath - maybe he will end up sharing a cell with Jerry Remy's kid, who finally got convicted after his family's clout couldn't get him out of the murder charge.

I know it's all about courts and reasonable doubt but this is a guy who everyone knows did these murders and I would believe anyone who snitched on him. This guy is just names in numerous murders(Odin Llyod). I think everyone knows who he is and what he did. I think they said today that they have video of him and a friend leaving the club and getting in a dispute and going after the victims by car. They have the car, the murder weapon, witnesses, etc. He's done.

The only racial aspect of the OJ trial was because of the piece of shit Johnny Cochrane who knew his only way of getting OJ free was to invent a racist detective who planted evidence. The dumbfuck jury ate it up hook, line, and sinker. Aaron Hernandez has nothing close to the star power OJ had so IMO, OJ's trial was a much bigger story.

It was a huge racial spectacle nonetheless. OJ was certainly a higher profile athlete but the psychosis of Aaron Hernandez runs deep. If you examine the crimes, this case is the bigger story. Of course AH didn't have the career OJ did, Aaron is only 24 ( with a trip to the Pro Bowl under his belt). If this happened when he was 34 instead of 24, this would be a far bigger story. The kid is a great football player.

Hernandez was a local sports figure, OJ was an international super star. He murdered the mother of his children and an innocent bystander, and got off. Hernandez was always a thug, and associated with thugs, OJ was the whitest black guy out there
    He plead guilty

Oh, he's guilty as sin, but the DA is grandstanding and sending pres releases inviting the press like it's a cocktail party. They guy has political aspirations, and this case gives him the perfect platform.
