Yeah these 30 for 30's are so well done and interesting, no matter what the topic is. Just watch 9.79 about Ben Johnson and the steroids in the Olympics. Great stuff.

The greatest injustice was that he was placed on the greatest basketball team ever assembled, i couldn't believe it at the time. Isiah or Shaq should have replaced him. Even Mullin's inclusion is a little suspect...

Interesting that people hated him because he was a "rich kid", even though his parents were working class and he received financial aid for school.

Christian Laetner was one of the greatest college basketball players of all time. I say this as a Maryland Terrapin fan.

Did you ever watch the Dream Team doc on NBA network a few years back. Isiah was kept off by Jordan and Pippen. Mullin was a huge scoring threat from outside and Laetner was college player of the year.

He damn sure learned some humility when he played for some of those shitty Bullets teams.

Can't wait. I'm a lifelong Duke fan, and Laettner is my favorite Dukie of all time. I have 2 favorite players in any sport, and they just happen to be basketball. My #1 favorite is Kareem Abdul Jabbar, the greatest NBA player IMO of all time. Quiet, nice guy most of the time, he was great, but he didn't feel the need to show it. The other is Laettner, who is arguably in the top 5 greatest college players of all time, he was great and he knew it, that cocky SOB was as arrogant as they come and I loved him for it lol..

btw, he's also one of those guys that I would never want to meet, and I've had a few chances over the last 20 years but never did, because I'd probably like him less if he was actually nice to me lol..

Also, part of the agreement to allow pros play was that they had to have a college representative.

Dude had a decent NBA career. 13 years, 12.8 ppg, and made an all-star team. I could live with that.

I just watched the one about that arrogant college football player who had the catchy nickname and blonde hair, a Mohawk I think. Can't remember his name.

Yep. The only person that was left off that should have been on there was Isiah, and fact is if was on that team, Jordan wouldn't have been. Nobody ever thought Shaq should have been on there over Laettner, they HAD to have one college player and Laettner has hands down the best there was then. He even went head to head with Shaq when Duke played LSU and Laettner schooled him, even Shaq admits it.
