I've checked out allrecipies, they're all too elaborate.....bf was supposed to make dinner but he just called & said he's gonna be late....I suppose I could just slather with oil, salt & pepper but that seems really boring.....thanks....

Best turkey ever is brined. I imagine you could do it with just a breast.

    Hi J High... I'm thinking. :D

If you have some lemon/garlic/any fresh herbs laying around, you could chop them up and put them under the skin. :bigthink

If not, there's nothing wrong with just slathering it with salt, pepper, softened butter (to help the skin brown) and roasting it.
You could get all crazy with some sort of marinade, but I'm a purist when it comes to roasting chicken and turkey. :D

Soak it in beer, roast till black, and hide it behind a curtain in the living room. Call it Blackened Danson Turkey.

That's true, what Driven by Demons said, if you can, stick it in a big gallon bag with some water, sea salt and brown sugar for a couple hours.

The flavor is great that way but the real benefit is how moist it stays. I'm ready for turkey now.

slather with butter and herbs over and under the skin--bring the breast to room temp, pre-heat oven to 450. put in breast, reduce heat to 410, cook 1 hour and 10 minutes or until internal temp is 160

Throw it in the microwave for 10 minuets on high.

Turkey is best ground up and thrown out to the dog - -- Then make some Pork in place of.
