Really? Tell me a bit. I fee like I need someome to relate to om this. Seems nothing helps.
The shed gives me heart palpitations.
try changing your diet. If I drink less soda and have celery sticks vs. sweets during the day, I am more composed and less amped.
More like frustration tolerance issues. Finding a pretty psychotherapist helps. some.
Hmm, that's interesting. I suppose cutting out caffeine (coffee)might help. So hard.
Do you go to a psychologist or psychiatrist?
threads about anxiety give me anxiety.
That dawned on me today. I have had anxiety issues my whole life. As far as I can remember. As far back as 5. It has never gone away. But today it has dawned on me that these frustration, and irritability etc issues i feel at work are part of my GAD. It's maddening really.
I don't blame you bud.
No. I really should. But it's hard to take time off of work. Plus the copay would get expensive depending on how many times it is needed.
You should try reading dr John Sarnos work. The mind-body connection is a powerful concept.
So how do you deal?
I tried Ativan a few years ago but switched to Xanax because I wasn't feeling any better. My prescription is for 1 mg twice a day but I rarely take the 2nd pill. It has worked miracles for me. I don't ever want to stop taking it. I can't control my catastrophic thought processes. I have a problem and it needs to be dealt with medically.
I know some people are against taking meds, but why be miserable if you have options? And you don't need to tell anyone if you don't want to. It's your personal business and fuck anyone who judges. I've been going through some heavy medical issues this year and if I didn't have my Xanax, I'd be a friggin basket case.
I take Cymbalta it has helped a tad but not clearly enough.
