I really love my local company, but Geico will save me 40 bucks a month... is it worth the switch? It is only a 6 month policy and my insurance said they will raise it a ton after that 6 months?

I just switched to them from Allstate..am saving $45 a month now. Just make sure you are getting the same coverage as your previous carrier, liability amounts and deductibles etc.

thanks.... when I called my current insurance they said they like to drop u after 6 months, or raise your insurance a ton

also was afraid if I did get into an accident they would be a huge headache paying me out/making a claim

They are good. I've had them for about 15 years. I pay under $600 a year now. I even have roadside assistance with them and used it a couple of times last year. Everyone said it would raise my rates but it did not.

That is such BS. Also, I think they somehow find the nicest people on the planet as customer service reps.
