Just finished taking out the old ceramic tile on the foyer (4ft x 4ft area) and need to replace it this weekend. Has anyone had any good, or bad, experience with either the floating floor style or peel n stick? Trying to avoid actually laying tile but will if necessary, the mortar bed below is pretty smooth so I don't see a huge problem with either approach.

    Thanks and cheers mates

I installed my laminate wood myself. easy project if you have basic carpentry skills, a mitre saw, and nail gun for baseboards. And you got be ok working on your knees. I had my father in law on the saw handing me cut pieces, made it easier. :D

this, no matter how smooth you think the sub-floor is the peel and stick tiles will mirror ever nook and cranny.
