It was a racism and profanity filled parody of "Thriller" about Gary, as I recall. It used to be on Youtube, but it was removed because someone flagged it for racism.

It's one of those things that pops into my mind that's probably not as funny as I remember it to be, but I'd like to hear it again.

It's at least 5 or 6 years old, I think. I seem to remember first hearing it on some Howard Stern audioclips site before the proliferation of Youtube. Probably somewhere from 2005 to 2007 or so.

Booey Song Parody Contest Finalists Picked. 07/16/08.

    6:30 a.m.

Howard said that Sal did something really fucked up and he said that the guy is insane. He said that he's really just out of it. Gary came in and said that Sal did this thing that kind of offended him. Howard said that they've gone through thousands of entries for the song parody contest and both Sal and Richard have slowed down the process.
Gary said that Sal was claiming that he had done versions of these songs that people were sending in and claimed that people were taking his stuff and redoing them. Howard said that when they picked these finalists Sal asked where the ones he picked were. Sal thought he picked funny ones but other people didn't think that he had. That led to Sal going back and making a song parody about Gary where he uses the N-word over and over again in the song.
Howard said that Sal thinks that it's okay to use the N-word as long as what you're doing is funny. The only thing is that they don't think that this is that funny. Howard played the song parody which was to the tune of Michael Jackson's Thriller and it was just the N-word. Howard played a few seconds of the song and said that it was too offensive to continue playing it. Robin said that all she heard was the N-word because the rest of the song was unintelligible.
Howard played a little more of the song and it was Sal talking about Gary's lips using the N-word. Artie said that Sal has never been a fan of the show for the right reasons. He said that some people got the joke and others didn't. Sal is the one who didn't get the joke. He said that's what he thinks about Sal and he must think that Howard is a racist or something.
Howard said that they do have to pick some songs but Sal was way out of line with his thoughts on the parodies so they can't go by what he picked.

i don't know how to upload short clips, but i'm sure someone else here has the same resources as I ;)

I love how Howard and Artie have to go through all the rigmarole of saying how bad and racist it is as a justification for playing it, when in reality they wanted to play it because it was funny.

I can picture Sal recording it & being all happy & getting into it & saying the lyrics!

You can hear Howard laughing & then quickly saying 'it's so bad':D

i don't really buy the argument that artie puts forth that people are fans of THSS because it makes fun of racists.

I used to like it because it was funny, plain and simple.

Great find! This is so hilarious. It is a song PARODY, Howard. What I used to love about Howard is that he had no filter. People could say anything as long as they didn't curse and get him in the FCC crosshairs. Sigh....
