Anyone hear Howard yesterday claim that he never used the n word?

    It was during the Kathy Griffin interview. She said, "You used to use the n word all the time," and both he and Robin started wailing about how they never said it. Then she pressed him and he said something like if he did use it, it was to illustrate a point.

    Racial humor was the bread and butter of Howard and guys like Billy West, Jackie Martling, Fred Norris, Gilbert Gottfried and Artie Lange. It was a staple of the show's comedy for almost 30 years. Now that it made him a billionaire he wants to turn his back on it, censor his tapes and archive material and be some family friendly drip specializing in interviews.

    Pretty sad. So he never said schvartz, schwoogie, moolie,Reggie,monkey and all that and associate with Klan members and people who did all the time. He was always Family Friendly, Evolved and ready for a Larry King style show.

    Yep he never said it. And he never routinely featured a talented voice actor who impersonated
    a woman who said the n-word every 10 seconds. Howard is above that kind of humor. :rolleyes:
