Just wondering. I'm listening to the original Woodstock festival at work today, made me wonder if anyone witnessed anything historical.

Yep. But I don't want to say what. :) It was cool though and you'd be jealous if you knew what it was!!

I was lucky enough to be at game 6 of the 2003 world series to watch Josh Beckett and my usually pathetic Marlins beat the evil Yankees.

    It was amazing.....and expensive.

Was at the Who show when Keith Moon passed out behind the kit. I'm old.
Saw Barry Bonds hit the record home run.
Lived through the '89 earthquake in SF.
    That's all I got.

Was at Game 6 of 1986 World Series.

Bugs me when everyone that you meet in the NY area says they were there. Like Woodstock, there were about 50 million people there

I was on west 72nd street in front of The Dakota building the weekend after John Lennon was shot. There is an image of the scene in the Man in the Mirror video.

Saw Roger Waters perform The Wall in 1990 in Berlin.

I saw Reggie Jackson hit his 500th homer.

I saw the Kings hoist a banner and get their first Stanley Cup rings (almost touched the cup as it was carried out to the ice).

I saw the Lakers hoist an NBA championship banner and get their rings. (I can't remember the year but, it was at Staples)

Do those count as historic events?

I saw Black Sabbath with all the original members at Ozzfest 2006, at that same show I got to see Iron Maiden pelted with eggs. So no, nothing historic for me.
