We have some smart peoples here and I need someone with real world experience to tell me if it's awesome or not. The snooty people on the hacking sites aren't much help. I was thinking of doing the drive firmware hacks but this seems better. anybody help a bra out?

I've never played xbox online in my life but I think I want to. Shit looks mad fun and I want to blow up Steveie and Mack in one of those army games.

I read an article that kids growing up with gaming controllers from a young age have a better fine motor control and their opposable thumbs have a much greater range of motion then their age appropriate non gamers. This has nothing to do with adults but I found that the scientific evidence is fascinating. They are also now noticing that the ability to solve mental puzzles is much higher in the child gamers as well. I'm sure that aspect would carry over to the adult playing population though.

Lotta work, little return if ya ask me ... It's more fun to be dong the work and mod'ing the box.

After that I don't plan to ever play the JAP version of Fight Night with Hop Sing vs. Charlie Chan ...

You mean the soldering and shit??? That doesn't bother me at all. I always prefer hardware hacks if they are reliable. I've done wiikey's and x-cuters in the original xbox in the past and they ran great. This RGH seems good since there are no firmware changes for MS to hash and kill. At least that's how I interpret it. Runs on the same principal as the unloopers did in the H-card days for DSS TV.

H-Card, made me have some respect for canadians back in the day.

RGH is supposed to be hit and miss, as well as it long term fucks the unit up ( so I'm told ). Also different on slim and fat units. I prefer the below product.

It is, but most hacks are safe as long as you're not playing on the XBL live network. With that I don't even need to be online to play ISO's.

And on the rare glance I do play B3 or CoD:MW, i use my actual disc.

I'd be a little leary about modding and playing online on the same console. :dontknow:

I've heard a ton of horror stories about people getting bricked almost instantly.

That's why I like the RGH, nothing gets changed so MS has no way to check if it's been modded. That thing you got is friggin awesome but if I can't get on live I don't want it.
