My buddy told me today that he is going to start waiting tables in the evenings and on weekends to make ends meet. Does the state of the Union have anyone else hurting like this?
I get enough OT to get by, but I don't live too extravagantly. I've thought about picking up a part time job to build up some funds for buying a new car, but there are seemingly good things happening at my full-time job that make me think I'll be getting a promotion/wage increase
He is in sales. Most of the mom and pops that he made the majority of his commission from had to close in the last year or so because they couldn't afford to stay in business.
I just tipped a dude $100 on a $500 tab. This included 2 bottles of good wine and we were there about an hour and a half. I was thinking this dude makes more than me.
