Looking at one. 7.62. I know they're hard to get, just fishing for info. Oh, fuck Howard!(keeping it relatable)

Nope, too pricey for me. But ol' Hickok45 seemed to really enjoy his time playing with one.

According to the feedback I've been reading, it's light, recoil is really manageable and it's as accurate as a .308 battle rifle is expected to be.

It's pretty damn new and outside of the grip, I can't think of any aftermarket shit you'd want to replace something with. My main issue would be the cost/availability of ammo. The drought's easing up (until the next big scare) but it'll still be as expensive as fuck to feed that thing if you plan to shoot regularly.

I think Magpul actually sold the Masada to Bushmaster which then became the ACR.

I just know here in California, you can't buy fire crackers, let alone long rifles.

Yeah, it's bad, but at least the advent of the bullet button has bought us a little more time.

I don't consider guns toys and amusements, but tools. I prefer to spend my cash on 55 gal drums, acid, and pig farms.

You probably have one more year. Legislation will likely be back again attempting to outlaw the sale of all centerfire rifles with a detachable mag. If you want something get it now.

Yeah, I've been telling all my friends who are on the fence that the time to act is now. Unfortunately this wonderful little economy we've all been dealing with for the past 5 years hasn't left folks with much room for discretionary spending. Gotta say I'm a little surprised the pro-Constitution advocates were able to talk Gov. Moonbeam into vetoing the legislation that was passed this year. Luckily I've had my DDM4 for several years now.

It came right down to the wire this year. I was glad I made plans early. A few more things on my wishlist I'll try to get this year. SCAR 17s is on the list.

Brown seems to still be a free thinker on some things, but he's already given the anti-gun people pointers on how they should craft their next bills so they don't get vetoed. They'll be back next year modified to have a better chance. Jerry is in for one more year and then it's up for grabs. The next governor, Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom will strip all our gun rights. :pissedoff:

I think you're exactly right. Brown doesn't strike me as someone who's looking to go out of his way to be fair to responsible gun owners. I think he's just more interested in signing legislation that he feels is more likely to survive judicial challenges.

It really is unbelievable. You keep thinking these people have to wake up sooner or later, but it never seems to happen.

I was at a gun show last weekend looking for an MP5 and looked at a few. $2500 was a little more than I cared to spend and only found MP5 in .22lr so I bought a Baretta CX4 Storm 9mm carbine rifle. Walked out in 5 minutes with it, have to love Florida.

Those are some nice guns, the only rifle I have for home defense is a Ruger mini-14 Range rifle .223

Almost identical to this but with a black scope and a large capacity banana clip:
