First signs of society breaking down yet, or are things under control?
I'd say things broke down there a long, long time ago ....
Also, I can't help but notice that when there was a water pollution problem in West Virginia, celebrities didn't line up to donate water to them ....
So poor. So black.
What's this have to do with food or Disney ?
Flint started falling apart in the 80's....surprised it was still somewhat in tact now.
Detroiters make fun of Flint.
And they both laugh at Waterford.
Fucking pussies, its still wet. Drink up.
You're only supposed to feel sorry for minorities
Utter bullshit. I remember very well that whole fiasco where the polluted water was running downhill. There was wall to wall coverage and the response to fix the issue was at lightning speed compared to the situation in Flint. I have seen endless comments here and other places online insinuating that Flint had it coming because they're too dumb to move somewhere not as poor. Well, those people in Virginia are overwhelmingly conservative. They vote for people who promise to get rid of the epa and all our "job killing regulations".
The people, including children, babies and pregnant mothers were unknowingly poisoned for a year and a half. Those kids are disadvantaged for life. There still isn't anything being done and it's been months since the problem was discovered.
What would happen in your country if an elected official caused children to get lead poisoning and then covered it up well after they were informed?
Btw, don't get the wrong idea, I'm not bashing you. I'm just expressing my frustration with the situation.
Don't worry, I'm just goofing around
I'm sure people would go completely crazy if something like that happened here. That said, I'd say chances of it happening are really slim, because stuff like that is taken care of almost obsessively. You honestly will not find a single decayed highway, bridge, power line, or water pipe in the Netherlands, which is why we all pay an insane amount of taxes.
It's just the blaeks. WGAS.
Is that true that the military was bombing the abandoned neighborhoods there for practice? That's hilarious
Set up an area for that, don't just go to the abandoned streets and start blowing up houses. Jesus.
Pretty sure that @freds aspires to one day be able to afford to live there.
