I've had a trial subscription to Apple Music. It ends in about six days. I'm on the fence on whether or not to go with the paid subscription.

Anyone using it with good or bad reviews?

Note: Howard related because he now has a playlist!!!!

My trial also ends next week. It's what 9.99/month? Not worth it to me. It was nice, but I prefer Google Music. It uses my own music library and has a decent radio feature for free.

Is there a reason to get it if you already have the music and videos you want on your device?

I was on the fence... I have Spotify and listen to a lot of music.

    Pros:
The 'For You' recommendations kick the shit out of any service.
Syncs my huge local music catalog to the cloud just like iTunes Match.
    Cost.

    Cons:
The interface is a hot fucking mess. Seriously. There's just so much going on.

I know they will eventually get the interface sussed out, but the big win for me is the integration with Siri. While driving just being able to say something like, 'Play Digital Man by Rush' is a bonus.

I went ahead and paid for the family plan for the next month... So I have both Spotify and apple Music until then.

    Deathmatch!

I absolutely love it! New releases are there every Friday, you have access to tons of old stuff and hard to find stuff. I sync it to Apple TV at home and play it in the house and also hook it up in the car. No more downloading, no more CDs.
I've been getting back into alternative music this summer and I'm finding tons of stuff to listen to.

Apple hasn't come out with anything compelling since Steve Jobs croaked...

Why pay for music with spyware and copy protection when you can still download it for free!

Has anyone else experienced a severe drop in sound quality while streaming? I have a bad ass sound system, and sometimes while streaming the music starts to sound tinny, not quite right. Also when I listen to My Music, sometimes I'm missing a track from an Album, and it just skips it, but if I go to the streaming music, I can find the album and listen to it streaming. This shouldn't be such a pain in the ass to do.

Never tried it, don't like it. Fuck Apple! And I say that as a user of their products. Fuck Google too and all these gay ass companies that think they are going to take over your whole life and streamline and integrate it or whatever the fuck they do.

I was just talking about this at work last night. I think the Amazon music stream sounds better than the apple one .

I'm digging it. I will continue to pay when my trial ends. I like that i can "save" an album to my iphone so i can listen offline (like when i'm on a plane). I wanted to listen to the new David Gilmour that got released on September 18. I fired up itunes about 11pm on the 17th and it was already on the store ready for me to listen. I thought that was pretty cool.
