It's probably my least favourite Nirvana album but I'd like to hear the Steve Albini mix that's included. I thought the original always sounded kind of bland and boring.

Howard used to claim to love Nirvana....will he mention this at all or is he too into that new Katy Perry single these days?

here's a cool podcast of Steve Albini talking about Kurt Cobain and Nirvana (among other things) if anyone is interested.

I haven't listened to it in at least a decade. Some of it was good but I remember songs like Rape Me, Serve The Seveants and Pennyroyal Tea sounded really lame to me, like they were just going through the motions. and some of the lyrics were cringe worthy. I'm going to pick this up when it comes out and see it changes my mind. I really want to hear that second CD with the new mix.

Great album but they're taking "milk it" a little to literally.

When I was a kid, my driving school teacher had a hairy mole like that on her face...only it was just one long hair.

The kids in class would joke about buying her a razor for Christmas or her B-day.

I remember when Kurt committed suicide for a minute I thought a contributing motive may have been the public's response to "In Utero", which had been released shortly before. "Nevermind" was so huge that the follow-up could never meet such high expectations.

In Utero is one of my all-time favorite CD's. I like it even better than Nevermind.

But many of the extras on this re-issue have been around for years on bootlegs, so I'm not too interested in it.
