...try this gp see if it works on your apple. theres a 14 day free trial program. it works well for me on a pc i bought it a couple of years ago and its well worth it.
Excellent software, at least on pc. Definitely worth a try.
Thanks! But its for windows only
Not malware, but its good at removing the adware that hijacks your browser with ads.
...aww sorry gp.
Sophos has a decent free real-time av for Mac.
I had some major issues with my mac recently, and wound up taking it to the Apple Store, to one of the apathetic millennial "geniuses" He did actually fix the problem....
I thought MACs don't get malware or viruses?
Hmm, how could you have gotten malware?
Thanks for this. I downloaded it and ran a scan and thank god it found nothing!
I only get mackeeper popups when I download a movie questionably. Does it work?
I use it birddog..I like it but it is not free.
One of my in-home experts (kids) recommended ClamXAV. He uses it on his own Mac.
Good suggestion..however I do see there are some issue with it Beffquus. My mindset is pay for the good stuff...the free stuff isn't always without problems
Agree, totally. I was responding with GP's "free" qualifier in mind. I think my kid has a couple of anri-malware programs on his Mac but this was his favorite free one.
As Ralph Kramden once said "It pays to buy the best"
